Added the last bit of materials and started playing with lighting... here is my progress :D

DESIGN: Inspiration for Gallery

The Gallery, as seen in space planning, is a double volume space that needs to become a versatile space. 

Below is perforated panel that allows light in and for users to view the Gallery from the walk ways, this visually opens up the space. 

Gallery partitioning 

To achieve general lighting and task lighting, illuminated paneling is used as a solution. Their white illuminated backdrop gives a soft light finish to the interior and allows paintings to be displayed at all intervals with 'illuminated task lighting'.

Illuminated Paneling  

The Gira exhibition installation is self-illuminated and a modular form of installation. This could be used to create flexibility in the Gallery and separate the spaces when necessary.

The Gallery as seen on space planning is double volume. To connect the Ground Floor to the Lower Gallery floor a simple fluorescent light is used through the space as seen below. The lighting can become more abstract and patterned.

First quick attempted at Lumion... easy to import and use... materials on the other hand are a bit tricky and I need some more practice.
